Advanced Settings
Advanced Settings give you additional control over how your campaign spends and delivers — but for most advertisers, the defaults work best.
What are Advanced Settings?
Advanced Settings is an optional step in campaign setup that lets you fine-tune how your campaign runs beyond the daily budget. You can adjust your Max CPM bid, set a play duration, and control how often your ad plays per hour.
Our Recommendation
For most advertisers, we recommend leaving Advanced Settings at their defaults. Blip's defaults are designed to optimize your campaign in the most effective way. Only adjust these settings if you have specific requirements for your campaign.
The three Advanced Settings
Max CPM
Sets a ceiling on what you pay per 1,000 impressions. Blip will never exceed this amount per auction, though your actual average CPM will typically come in well below it. Adjusting this can affect how competitively your campaign bids for billboard inventory.
Duration
Controls how long your ad plays each time it appears on a billboard screen. Longer durations mean more screen time per play, but may reduce how often your ad is shown within your budget.
Hourly Play
Lets you limit how many times your ad plays within a given hour across your selected billboard inventory. Useful if you want to control pacing or limit frequency in a specific time window.
