Get Started With Blip

Understand Blip quickly and get your campaigns running.

How it Works

Blip is a completely self-serve ad network built to get your ads on digital billboards across the US. Think of Blip like Google Ads, but for billboards.

Every ten minutes, thousands of billboards in the Blip network hold a digital auction for open blips (rotating eight-second ad plays) on each billboard. Then, winning ads like yours enter the billboard's rotation, playing in hundreds of cities across America, garnering impressions you couldn't get anywhere else.

How Much Does it Cost?

Just like other ad networks, Blip is based on a digital auction. This means the number of plays in a digital billboard's rotation that you get will depend on the size of your budget and how much demand there is for the board. In short, when you advertise with Blip, you set your own budget and you only pay when your ad plays.

Where Are the Boards?

Boards in the Blip network are on major roadways across the US. You can view the complete map and see details about each sign in the campaign creator at marketplace.blipbillboards.com after you've created a free Blip account.

How to Get Started

Moderation

After you've launched your campaign, your ads will go through a two-step moderation process:

Tier 1: Our in-house moderation team will review your artwork, according to Blip design guidelines. This takes roughly 30 minutes within normal business hours.

Tier 2: If approved, your artwork will be sent to the billboard owner for review. This usually takes 1-3 business days.

Once approved, your ad will either enter the Blip auction immediately or wait until your campaign's start date.

Analytics

Blip provides data on the blips, impressions, and demography of your campaigns. Note that it can take up to 24 hours after a blip for campaign data to populate.
